Image Annotation: Mouse (like MC02-0025 and MC02-0029) overexpressing the B chain of PDGF via local introduction of a retrovirus. A large tumor involves much of a cerebral hemisphere. Local infiltration is seen at higher power, where the adjacent cerebral cortex is involved. At higher power, tumor cells with round to anglular nuclei and perinuclear haloes are appreciated. In one area, ribboning of tumor nuclei can be appreciated. Microvascular proliferation is present. David N. Louis
