Image Annotation: Amelanotic spindle and epithelioid cell tumor from a Tyr-RasV12G Ink4a-/- mouse. This higher power view reveals the spindle and epithelioid nature of the tumor cells, nuclear atypia, and numerous mitoses. Large eosinophilic intracytoplasmic inclusions are present that resemble the Kamino bodies seen in human Spitz nevi. However, the numerous mitoses and the invasive nature of the tumor are those of a malignant process.
