Whole slide image of the prostate of a transgenic probasin:SV40-Tag (TRAMP) male mouse provide from the collection of Dr. Ronald Herbert. The seminal vesicles are dilated with the phylloides type lesions . The prostate has a generalized atypical hyperplasia of the luminal epithelium. One area has a small focus of microinvasive carcinoma. One or two areas of microinvasive adenocarcinoma are present. These irregular glands invade the stroma around the ducts and have a high mitotic rate with pleomorphic nuclei with an open chromatin pattern.
