Image Annotation: S100 immunoperoxidase staining of human abdominal skin grafted onto a SCID mouse and injected intradermally with an adenoviral vector encoding bFGF after two injections a week apart. Increased numbers of melanocytes are present relative to the "normal" melanocyte:keratinocyte ratio of roughly 1:8 for human abdominal skin. Several of the melanocytes are enlarged.
