Image Annotation: Poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma arising in a K14-HPV16 (early region) K14-VEGF double transgenic mouse. Keratinization is only focally present in this poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. The overlying squamous epithelium is thickened (squamous hyperplasia with aypia) and extensive hyperkeratosis is present.
