Image Annotation: Malignant basaloid follicular neoplasm arising as a nodular tumor on the back of a K5-GLI1 transgenic mouse. This tumor bears some resemblance to the tumor depicted in skin_105-107, with cords of basaloid cells separated by dense eosinophilic material, but the majority of this tumor is more poorly differentiated. The jigsaw puzzle-like architecture is less well developed and the central portion of the tumor is necrotic and cystic.
