Image Annotation: High power view of the malignant basaloid follicular neoplasm arising as a nodular tumor on the back of a K5-GLI1 transgenic mouse depicted in skin_108. The cylindroma-like architecture has essentially disappeared and cells exhibit nuclear atypia, mitotic activity, and clear cytoplasm. These changes, coupled with the presence of necrosis represent malignant transformation.
