Image Annotation: Squamous papilloma arising in a Sencar mouse treated with a two-step (DMBA/TPA) chemical carcinogenesis protocol. Squamous papillomas with a crater-like growth pattern and a polypoid stalk are very common in mice treated with chemical carcinogenesis protocols involving DMBA (see also skin_160 and skin_152).
