Image Annotation: Large tumor arising in a mouse heterozygous for the NF2 gene. Spindle cell morphology can been seen at low power. At medium power a herringbone pattern can be appreciated, seen as alternating fascicles of cells with elongate nuclei. High power shows high cellularity, but frank anaplasia is not seen.
