Image Annotation: Mouse transgenic for the SV40 T antigen (T121 allele, driven by lymphotropic papovavirus transcriptional signals) in a p21 +/- background. Both sections show marked expansion of the lateral ventricle. The tumor seems confined to the ventricular space without involvement of the CNS parenchyma. At high power the tumor is composed of cuboidal to columnar epithelial cells with a distinct papillary pattern. It resembles normal choroids plexus, but is more cellular and disorganized.
