Image Annotation: Left ovary: this image represents two sections of the left ovary. The ovary is entirely effaced by a densely cellular neoplastic process. The neoplasm forms papillae (in the ovarian bursa), tubules (at the periphery of the ovary), and solid areas (at the center of the ovary). The neoplasm is composed of small cuboidal to polygonal neoplastic cells that are closely-packed, have indistinct cell borders and a have small amount of basophilic cytoplasm. Their nucleus is central and round. Anisokaryosis and anisocytosis are mild. Mitotic figures and apoptotic cells are numerous.
