New Mouse Model of an Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) Subtype

Researchers at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center have engineered a mouse that expresses a mutant form of FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3, which is present in approximately one-third of adult and pediatric AML cases.
